Day before

Okay, tomorrow is the big day. We have to be at the hospital at 5:45 am and the surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am. I think I am the first one of the day!
Pray for the surgeons, Dr. Jarvis and Dr. Looby.
Pray for me, I don't want to be a wimp about this- as a good friend put it today, this is just a bump in the road, a long road the God travels with me.

There is a food schedule on takethemameal.com that my good friend Susan Skutt put up for those of you dying to cook something. Remember it is usually only Al, Annie and I eating home, Andrew works 4-midnight usually.
Susan also asked me to tell what things people could help with. I'm sitting in the green room at home today, trying to get some grad class work done. I love this room, it's colors and double windows. I expect this will be my recovery room at home because the green is energetic and living. But it needs a few plants. If you were inclined to send me flowers, try a plant instead. Something fragrant. :-) A spice plant or something very leafy.
Thanks again for all your prayers and well wishes. I am opening up the blog now, if there is someone you know that wants to follow along feel free to send out the address.
Thanks again for your support.
