Book Fair Family night was tonight at Kettle Lake Elementary. I have been a part of book fair for about 18 years. This year I wasn't able to help Bonnie with the set up or sale night, but I did get a chance to go in for the last half hour or so and visit with Bonnie and other dear friends. The Book Fair carnival theme looked great, very festive. What a wonderful opportunity for families to look at good literature together and spend time with their community!
These are the things life is made of, a friend who also has cancer told me to enjoy all the little things. Book Fair may seem like a little thing, but is one of the many little things I enjoy. Look around, what is your little thing to enjoy? Some things are everyday little things, and some things come once a year like Book Fair.
More cards arrived today, I received more hugs and well wishes. You are all great friends! Thank you for the cards and prayers.
I can't imagine not being part of book fair. Love helping Bonnie and seeing all the books. Now I get to take grandkids shopping there this week. I can't wait. Glad you got there for a little while.
